Last week I shared our rough agenda for the next few months:
January 13th - Lead the pledge of allegiance for city hall meeting
January 16th - meeting (no meeting sooner because of a long winter break)
January 31st - Gold & Silver Area Troop Dance
February 2nd - Ground Hog Day Celebration (we are the GH Capitol of the world!
February 2nd - Cookie Carnival
February 6th - Troop Meeting
February 8th - Start selling cookies! We have two booths that day!
February 20th - Troop Meeting
February 22nd - International Bazaar for World Thinking Day
March 6th - Troop Meeting
March 8th - Cat Show Fundraiser
March 20th - Troop Meeting/field trip!
April 3rd - Troop Meeting
April 17th - Troop Meeting
April 27th - Area Troop Pool Party
First things first, I have to update the Facebook (closed/private) group with the events.
Then, I have to pull forms and get RSVPs for the dates in Red (Dance already done and forms are in).
Next comes the sign up for cookie booths and the cat show...where the girls act as stewards and get a $300 contribution for the troop! (I didn't realize how much they loved this last year until several girls brought cat ornaments to the holiday party!)
Finally, Notes finalized for the troop meetings.... working in swaps/journey book/cookie training/pet patch/and World Thinking Day.
